We won't have to wait till July 08 for Kwanza. There are 23 or 31 onshore blocks in the Kwanza Basin, depending which ann. you read. Smyth has mentioned a number of times that the Kwanza Basin permit(s) will be a done deal by Christmas.
From my understanding it will be Kon5 and Kon8. If I had a second choice I would say Kon6 and Kon9 but I prefer the former.
Now they have the cash, the next interesting development will be the awarding of contracts for drilling rigs for Matanda. I would suggest this is where the Chinese companies come into play via the Robbie Brothers connection and they would be either supplying them or building them in sections and having them shipped to Koo for assembly and commissioning.
After that will be the need for rig operators and crews and then CVI will really start to fly.
Oil barge acquired - tick.
The gas fired power station will be handle by Quest I would assume.
Kwanza - will need to drill a few holes to see what's there.
