In a nutshell, the colder the water, the lower the chances of POMS occurring, with 20C what appears to be a cutoff. Considering that summer is behind us and temps are already starting to drop, if we can get through the next month without any POMS in farming leases, then risk of it spreading for at least another 6-8 months should be extremely low...that's my interpretation of the data/study anyway.
No doubt PIRSA and oyster farmers will take the necessary measures to further de-risk the potential spread of POMS during this low risk period.
I think once the company starts showing some sales numbers in addition to how its oysters continue to grow V expected mortality rate, we should start to see some support in the share price to what has been a very hyped up yet disappointing IPO.
In close to 20 years of trading and investing, I don't believe to have ever invested in an oversubscribed IPO with such poor secondary market support by those bringing it public, Everblu Capital...and looking at the figures, they were paid close to $1M cash + 1.25M shares & 4M options to see the share price drop 20% on opening day and now 30% lower and falling. I know which IPO's to steer clear of in the future that's for sure.
Anyway, GLTAH and hope to see a steady climb higher over the coming months.
