Did you notice the bit about the concessions being contigent on NAFTA progress? I told you all it was about NAFTA. What isn't well known is that a lot of the steel coming from Canada is supposedly originating in China, and as the recent Kobe scandal highlights there has been significant falsification in the steel specs from Japan and China such that steel going into US military equipment has not always been of the required grade and hardness. There is a lot more to this tariff move than just protection of US workers. There are layers and layers of corruption and international politics to be unwound and what we hear from the MSM is rarely right - everyone has an agenda, everyone. Just think how rarely they get the lithium space - which we all know a fair bit about - right. Well think - if they can get this little part of the world so wrong - just think how much of everything else you are reading and hearing is lying rubbish. In all my years advising governments, I rarely if ever saw the MSM get anything I knew about right that we didn't explicitly tell them to say.
