I am with banjar on that as I also think Costello would have lost by more than Howard did if a leadership change had occurred so close to the election. All academic now anyway as the Libs are unlikely to be a political force in Australia again for a long time and will probably amalgamate with the Nats just to survive. Sportingbet are taking bets on the 2010 election with ALP $1.15 and Coalition $4.50 though only a fool would be placing any money on anyone now. Dave R.
