Did you think I was suspended? No Misty...Chuck isn't a mod any more...lol and shame on you for thinking I would have said something to be suspended for!!!

You claim you are not happy with the way the wealth is distributed.
That is democracy and capitalism in action as far as I am concerned.

The question remains...what steps would you take to re proportion the wealth.

There are quote a few I would like to see...

A wealth tax on incomes in excess of 1m pa for a start. That way the incentive is still there to earn huge amounts but also re distribute some of the good fortune.

Where would the money go?

My 2 pet areas are Pensioners and Health.

People have busted their backsides for this country over countless years in order to lay the foundations for todays wealthy. They have paid tax all their lives and for their efforts receive a pittance.

As for health...speaks for itself really. Why come up with cures and ways to prolong life if we can't get the basic service off hospital admission.


So Misty..it is not sort of word game trickery. You post a lot on issues and whilst I think your views on democracy are clouded I would have thought that you have considered ways to improve the wealth distribution.
