TAW didn't make it into the ASX300 in this reshuffle. It was only promoted to the All Ords (which is essentially the ASX500), which is still a great achievement. That's why you couldn't buy into it with your fund straight away, not because the illuminati are trying to lock you out and force you to buy higher. If you truly wanted to get around this you could start your own genuinely self managed super fund not a SMSF Light as you seem to have now.
I don't doubt the big boys like MS and GS do their best to manipulate sentiment to their advantage, that is unfortunately the way the market seems to operate. Be thankful our market is less manipulated than the US markets...
