    Your solution imo is a sure way to get swing middle of the road voters to completely abandon the liberal ship.

    You want hardline conservative right politics lol the opposite to what swing voters are attracted to . They don't like extreme right or extreme left. The Hard Right will always vote non Labor so it’s not them that needs to be pandered to at the expense of the actual potential swing voters. Its voters who gravitate from Liberal to Labor and Labor to Liberal that they need to attract. Not quite your demographic Zurich! Whomever attracts most of those swing voters usually wins elections. The more off centre groupings rarely have any impact on the result because on 2pp basis they are unlikely to move from where they sit and cross the centreline. The Hard Right are unlikely to preference Labor just as the Hard left are unlikely to preference the Coalition!
