Rastus, I am OK taking a position in the other company at current prices. But my eyes are open, unlike most of the people who are posting.I am neither "pro" nor "con". I am just trying to be objective.
I see two great deposits, a strong interested counterparty, thin and inexperienced management, no cash in from the present deal, a stock price in the crapper, and a huge challenge to raise money for construction.
If you do not see these things, then it is your eyes that are closed.
I would be less surprised at a hostile takeover than I would be with a smooth and timely completion of the project.
To get control of both Sconi and Flemington for under $300 mil is a bargain.
