Seriously, you're all over the place.

I am well aware of the background of Great Leap Forward, the Forgotten Generation, The Cultural Revolution etc., etc., and the impact each of these events had on the Middle Kingdom.

Yes, the Great Firewall of China limits access to information, without a VPN.

I'll try to simplify what I am saying.

The CCP is, in many respects, bad. I have agreed with this and likely know much more about the Party than you do. As I said, my wife is a Party member. Her father is also.

The CCP is not ALL bad, especially some organisations within the party, such as the Communist Youth League, which is pushing for democratic reform and transparent leadership, whilst conducting their own investigations into corrupt practices.

The "thought police" will not come after you for doing business in or from China.

I have done business in China for many years (and still do) and can categorically say that much of what you posted is not in any way based in fact. That does not mean I support all the actions of the Party.

You changed your story from all of the Party is purged when there is a leadership change to the "key members". Who are you talking about, the Politburo Standing Committee, The Politburo itself, The Central Committee of the CCP, the CCP Congress, or something else? In any event, with changes to the constitution this week there will be not more 10 year terms and Xi there has been a centralisation of power that has not been seen since Mao. This is a greater threat than anything you mention.

Have you actually lived or worked in China? You keep telling me that I'm not an expert and things change. Maybe I'm not an expert, in your eyes, but it is as clear as the third testicle on a greyhound that I know a fair bit more than you do.
