CVI is now covered by CFD providers, from 50-70% lvr from what I can see...as such, I suspect a few margin calls on CVI are being covered via partial sell-downs.

Further, the wider carnage results in widespread selling in all manner of stocks, good and bad, to cover calls on just about everything else.

Buying on credit these days is akin to setting oneself up for a fall...and in many ways is fueling the extent of volatility seen on days like today.

As for CVI...some 10m have been sold in he last two days, from about 27.5c down. I cannot see them all getting back in for less than they sold for.
