Sounds like you had a very good sharebroker siameseparrot.

I had one and then got a bit lucky when JK decided to have the rights issue of 2:1 and got all those lovely shares at 1.3 cents plus a free option for my trouble.
Then as the price rose to an acceptable and slightly surprising level I sold enough to get back my original stake.

Then a week later it rose into the high 20's and it was just too good not to unload some more and take a nice profit out of harms way.

Now I can sit back on my remaining bundle and relax. No worries if it goes down, quite pleasing if it goes up.
I'm expecting that it will produce the goods and the sp will take off again and I will go for the ride wherever it takes me. It could be worth staying for a few years to come
