The same Lab company which produce supposedly "inclusive" 1st result, which then required the company to send it to 3 different Labs.
And which required them to send the samples to OEC.
I don't think many here want to discuss the contradictions between the two press releases.
Logically speaking, if the first samples from Gold Bar (from an oil field) produce inclusive results, wouldn't the second samples from Cane Creek (also an old oil well) produce the same inclusive results if sent to the same Lab in Nevada?
Shouldn't they send it straight to OEC?!?
Unless of course, the issue of oil masking was not problem - but the issue of whether Li in commercial quantity was present?!?
IMHO, the Labs were Not the problem, but whether commercial quantity of Li was!!!
That was my suspicion - how else were these Labs able to extract high concentration of Bromine and Iodine, which sits on the opposite end of the periodic table to Li, Na, Mg, Ca and K
IMHO, they didn't find commercial quantity of Li at Gold Bar. They are now trying to find them at Cane Creek.
You will note in the current press release; they postulated a few scenario of traps where Li "may" be concentrated.
"It is interpreted that the Roberts Rupture and the cross-cutting structures, see Figure 1 below, had been identified as possibly enabling the release of fluids and pressure at Long Canyon No. 1. These structures may also be acting as “traps” and concentrating the lithium and boron at the central and southern areas of Anson’s project area"
Note, this would match with "Old Historical Data" showing that Li concentrate vary widely in different areas of the Paradox basin.
Which obviously mean ASN will need to drill quite a few more holes to find the "Sweet spot" in Li.
