    Ash,i tried to google whether co's can pay dividends before tax ,I guess it would depend how the larger unfranked divs were recorded in the financials as larger div payments would need to be tax deductible otherwise tls would have to pay tax on the larger divs,i couldn't find an answer.
    Not sure how the institutions would feel but it would make sense if shorten gets in and the ato approved.
    Zadah,thats the attitude,keep laughing as tls builds its 5g network,reminds me of when tls built their 3 g network vodafone sat back and laughed then,ever since you have spent your time in the accc waiting room..
    ps fact if you own tls and bank fc'd shares etc and have a smsf or an income tax rate below 30% you will not get any benefit from shortens fc policy,ie you will not get any refund.
    But if you are a high income earner ie paying 45% income tax or an institution you will continue to get the full benefit of the 30% fc's.
    Average joe screwed again.
