it surprises me sometimes that peoples investment horizons are at most 7-14 days and their memories seem shorter

when some folk are ahead all they see is glory

when some fall behind all they know is despair

neither is the truth but a reflection of their emotional state

connected as they are with the outcomes of the time rather than the depth and strength of their own judgment
