I would hope that they have "chinese walls" in place to prevent anything un-towards influencing the analysts opinions.
Aside from that, I really do doubt that the analysts pay much attention to what the Nominees holdings are, they would have too much to lose if they ever let such holding's influence their analysis.
Would be all too obvious and easy for the regulators to follow-up on.
