Am I being unreasonable?

Other shares I hold, have management that occasionally gives you a bit of useful and timely information as you go along - such as,
Flow testing rig has been engaged
Flow testing rig in place as of [date]
Flow testing has reached this depth
It is expected flow testing completed by 30 March 2018

We seem to discover more information incidentally from other companies (eg PCL), other news feeds and forums.

Is it too much to expect a bit more in the way of progressive updates - who knows a bit more positive and constructive information - and they may not need to consider a consolidation in order to increase the SP.

It would be nice to be engaged in the process - or are we the mushrooms that get feather-dusted far to occasionally?
