Wouldn't the 'awesome God' be the product of chance, and accident?
Because anything else would be as the result of a plan i.e. creation by a creator.
And then we would definitely need to find an origin story for this highly improbable God.

What would mathematical probability be of an all-powerful God having always existed - i.e. there was no starting point for this entity - and one day it decided to create light, Earth, animals, people etc. After having always existed, not long ago it decided to do all this, then decided to take an entirely passive over0view and was never sighted again. What are the mathematical odds I wonder.

What is it that the religionists loathe and detest about the idea of events happening by chance and fate? Why must absolutely everything - except God itself - be occurring as the result of some vast all-encompassing plan? What is it that is broken and cracked in their brains that they recoil at the idea of chance and fate?
