    I guess that would make sense if God indeed exists because there is no evidence that he does in fact exist - it seems then that God is based on retrofitting to a preconceived notion of God based purely on faith.

    The multitude of beliefs in the nature of God by theists - on the forum alone - suggests that you may have a God that insists on believing in him based on faith alone with little clarity of his/her nature.

    My definition of faith is a belief in something despite there being no evidence or even evidence that contradicts such belief.

    What is your definition of faith that fits with you proposed faith belief in a God?
