... however, you can all whistle dixie if you think I'd ever eat snails to prove a point here ... I just about gag whenever I step on a snail whilst putting out the garbage on a wet and stormy Tuesday night when wearing bare feet ... Iv'e done it that many times over the years you'd think I'd learn lol ... how anyone could eat the revolting little critters is totally beyond me!

Anyway, since EPG management dont have much to say at the moment and as the French Govt seem to be out to lunch, we might as well talk about Peugeots ... I had a green epiphany and realised I was driving 50-60,000km per yr pretty much by myself in a big 4wd ... the kids are all in their 20's now ... hey it was lonely in that big car lol.

So the 4wd is now gone and in its place is a little 307 1.6L turbo diesel touring wagon ... it will save me about 2,500L of diesel a yr and will save us all about 6,000 kg of CO2 per year and it will save me about $1200/month in total running costs and probably save a few points on my licence.

The other morning on an 80km drive to work north of Sydney it averaged 4.4L/100km. A mate in Melbourne has one and reckons on their flat motorways he can get 4.1L/100km.

I sure wish the French were as good at signing off on gas producing asset sales as they are at making great cars!

Say, how about were start teaching each other French on this thread. We'd probably all be fluent French nationals before Gasonor is a signed deal lol!

Damn, I am bored to death with this waiting!
