The D&M Pyramid's Latitude As a bit of background information, it needs to be said that about 10 years ago, as of this writing (May,2000), Richard C.Hoagland was collaborating with Erol O.Torun and Carl P.Munck, Sr. as the 3 of them compared notes and findings.
Munck had already, by that time, found the Giza prime meridian running through The Great Pyramid. Torun .. a professional cartographer working for The Defense Mapping Agency (U.S. Government) ... had drawn a map, on his own free time and volition, of most of Cydonia ... and had sent it to Hoagland, who then sent it to Munck .. who then wondered how things would "line-up" if the huge 'D&M Pyramid' happened to "mark" a prime meridian ... analagous to what he had found at Giza. So... he proceeded on the basis of that hypothesis and he did, in fact, find a remarkably coherent and precise latitude/longitude resonance between NOT ONLY 'The Face' and 'The D&M Pyramid'... but also between Cydonia and Giza !!
Here, then, is what Munck found to be the latitude of 'The D&M Pyramid' Grid LAT 40 (deg) X 52 (min) X 4.773789372 (sec) North = 9929.184894 North.
Its Grid LONG is "360" ... the designated number of prime meridians.
So, we can derive its Grid POINT Value ... 9929.184894 / 360 = 27.58106915
Grid LAT and Grid LONG of 'The Face' Munck found The Face's longitude to be positioned at what I refer to as a "Pi Fractal". In this case, it is ...
"FACE" LONGITUDE: (Pi / 3) X (2Pi / 3) X Pi ... = 6.890283706 (min) E. That is ... 6.890283706 arc-minutes of longitude to the East of The D&M Pyramid's prime meridian.
GRID LATITUDE: 41 (deg) X 11 (min) X 10.03080581 (sec) North ... = 4523.893421 North ... = 1440 X Pi.
So we see a "Pi multiple" here, in the latitude positioning of The Face... ...and the number "1440" is an even multiple of "360" ... 4 X 360.
Grid POINT Value: 4523.893421 / 6.890283706 = 656.56127
The figure 656.56127 is very, very revealing... WHY? Because we can factor it into ... [360 Radians (deg) / 10Pi]. There we have 4 of the basic factors in "our" conventional, base-ten math and geometry system ... A.) "360" .... arc-degrees on one circumference. B.) Radian (deg) .. the "57.29577951" arc-degrees displayed 'overhead' at Giza. C.) "10" ... our base-ten basis ... of course. D.) Pi ... the ratio of circumference to diameter .. a "universal" constant.
Orientation of 'The Face' I have studied the orientation of 'The Face' regarding True North, and I've found it to be at an azimuth of 150 arc-degrees .. or, "off" True North counter-clockwise by 30 arc-degrees.
Azimuth From 'The D&M Pyramid' Apex To the Nose on 'The Face' I find the azimuth of a line from the apex of 'The D&M Pyramid' to the nose on 'The Face' to be a decimal harmonic of ... what I am predicting will be found-to-be ...
...the "intended/original/ideal" Polar circumference of Mars: 13159.47253 statute miles.
I'm saying that particular azimuth will be found-to-be: "13.15947253" arc-degrees.
Notice, again, a "Pi Fractal" in evidence ... when we take a closer look at the figure "13.15947253".
You recall, I'm sure, the (2Pi) factor discussed earlier. If we Square (2Pi) ... we get ... (2Pi) X (2Pi) = 39.4784176.
Now ... if we apply to THAT figure, the Sine of the (Hoagland) Tetrahedral Latitude of 19.47122061 arc-degrees north/south of planetary equators ... SIN 19.47122061 = 0.333333333 = 1/3rd .... 39.4784176 X 0.333333333 = 13.15947253 ah-hah !!
