This is a silly statement. 'Big holders' will do whatever any other investor does. Evaluates the risks, potential rise, potential further falls, sustainability of business model etc etc and then decide whether they should invest in this or look at other investments.

Relying on the hope that Centro were so big that 'big holders' must bail them out with more bad investment money is a risky judgement to make.

Centro were not very transparent in their announcements about their debt levels. There may be other unknowns lurking. It will be a while before trust is restored. This may be Centro's new true value once the new business plan reduces debt and tempers immensely its growth plans.
