Just a quick update on Gary.
He's been in hospital for a few days, but home again now.
He tried to start chemo again two weeks ago, but his body couldn't handle it (just like the doctor suggested).
It was only the first cycle and it put him in hospital, there was meant to be six cycles in total (one cycle is three weeks long), and they accumulate (so it starts off fairly easy, but gets much stronger as the poison accumulates over time).
So the doc has recommended to stop the chemo for now (he never wanted Gary to start in the first place.....), he is just not strong enough to do it right now, and his blood count is worryingly low.
Gary has reluctantly agreed to stop for now.
It's not looking very good really.....Tricia is pretty concerned.
I haven't done much on the excel project for a while now, bit hard to concentrate........
Having a break may have been good though, as it has given me some time to think about it a bit more clearly, and made me consider 'just what I actually want', in relation to the indicator I have been playing around with.
