Holding Rio seems at a 30% plus premium to the pre-offer price seems like a very high risk strategy to me.
On the other hand BHP is sill around the same price. Would BHP go up 30% to 40% if Rio made a bid for it?
Anyway, I sold all of my RIO at around $139 and put the proceeds back into BHP.
