Treason, Terrorism, aiding and a betting known terrorists –I am not a lawyer so there are a lot more he is guilty of and I could go on. But correct me if I am wrong isn’t the idea of crime prevention to catch the criminal before he does the crime. And let’s face it he was caught red handed the only thing is he never, thank God, got the chance to do any direct (indirect is another matter) terrorist action against Australia (that we know of). So should we wait for people to undertake a terrorist action before we act – wish they had caught the Bali Bombers before they had a chance. No thanks he deserves to be imprisoned for life at the very least so I agree I hope the federal police keep a VERY close eye on him. BTW the great thing in a democracy is we all get our own opinions and views so I still respect yours of course.
