The ASX should have a Dictionary all of it's own dedicated to shareholders imo Clooch

With all the words that look and sound the same as those used in others, like the Oxford, English, Cambridge, Collins, Webster's, etc - but seem to have a different meaning.

Maybe they already do, but only CEO's and Chief Executives have access to it !

Especially when words like 'Imminent' for example, seem to be bandied about with reckless abandon by Companies these days who have No idea of the True meaning, but should ! Who obviously don't own an English Dictionary, let alone know how to use it or use Google to check the correct meaning before attaching / using it in any correspondence or price sensitive announcements ! As i'm sure if we could have a sneek peek inside one, there would most likely be a picture of a Carrot held in front of a Donkey, with the meaning, to take as long as you like, years if necessary, as carrots are cheap

I bet i'm not the only one who's seen this word used on other threads on other stocks either.

As you say, for most if not all, "it's taken on a whole different meaning in our vernacular"
