I read the same article.....first decent mention I had heard of Panax. I went for more on close of Friday - some thief snuck ahead of my 23c bid on closing and ramped the price up to 23.5c. Can honestly say I hope the price weakens, as the more you look into PAX, the more you wonder why you didn't get more earlier.....

PAX should readily outperform GDY in SP appreciation (albeit at a higher risk profile) if two conditions are met:

    1) HAB3 succeeds and test flows are positive, fueling the perfect storm presented by geothermal

    -and-

    2) PAX secures rig funding, outlines a rig acquisition plan, or reports an expression of interest from the numerous development banks circling the international projects.

Now, I am confident that condition 1 will be met, hence my complete support for GDY. However, if PAX can emulate the path taken by GDY (JV options without share dilution), it should provide significant returns that outpace the entire sector.

Previous to URO/PAX, GDY seemed the only geothermal stock worth attributing a decent exposure to. How the times have changed.....

My Geo portfolio is 40% GDY/O, 40% PAX, 10% PTR, 10% Other. Panax is decidedly higher risk, with no rig funding and no significant cornerstone investors - but who reckons the brokers are sniffing out the company with the lowest risk profile (L.C, $4M spent on modeling and readily commercialised)in Australia and the highest potential internationally (thermal gradients at least 200% higher than GDY in several projects).

Peter, as a side note, could you please contact me at [email protected]

    cheers
