diligent....and to preempt anyone that will trot out that his stay in the Aussie hotel parading as a prison is the reason...
...take a look at the comments that have been passed over the years by observers of Hicks other than those who want to portray him as being beaten, starved & tortured etc...read their comments and how they are always suprised as to his health and how well nourished he always looked in G.
Aside from all the rhetoric, we usually process lots of info to arrive at what we think is the truth - and not just the words that are uttered
In DH case there is ample "proof" to out untrained eyes that his time in G, whilst perhaps not strictly a picnic or an uplifting experience, was nowhere near the draconian and torturous stay many would have us believe it to have been.
Infinitely better than a AK47 slug behind the ear or a 20 year stay in a US prison if he had qualified for trial under their system - which he did not.
Cray....re hearsay...there are plenty of resources for the discussion of the use and application of the hearsay rule. Enlighten yourself - always a better learning experience when done so.
