mate BB is comming to do a Celcius presentation here in Phuket on 22 April (sunday) lunchtime at the Outrigger Hotel in laguna. Be there - and all else welco0me too. It Should hopefully be less formal than usual(ill MC it!!!) and hopefully he can speak more freely - venue just confirmed yesterday and ill post the invite on HC as soon as its made up in a day or so.
Mate I also started as a banker in HK with Bear Stearns in the 80's/then a stockbroker with Cresvales - but I just couldnt fit in with the blue chip stuff. I got in troiuble with my bosses for always concentrating on the speccy very junior end - mainly in OZ - Its more exciting -so I left and independent early.
This junior market is great cos when you do get it right the wins are so big it allows you many years off between deals to goof off and do more interesting things. (like shipwrecking -travelling -expeditions -writing- more colourful investments etc)
In 90's also raised and managed a 120 mill DM fund in Germany/HK/Sing especially for small start ups junior and high risk options is Oz/asia (capital guaranteed with zero-coupon bonds) I sold that in 98 and been based here on Phuket for 20 years goofing around.
Im now co-starting a steam train in Danang Vietnam for toursits to go over the Hai van pass - almost ready - and of course getting more and more involved in CLA --- both look like Beuuutiufuul deals.
Indeed to be honest - after 35 years playing in the Oz junior market I've rarely (if ever) ever seen such a good an opportunity as CLA is looking just now (low downside risk and maaaasive upside potential) were all lucky (or smart) to have identified it early . And I've been in several 10 and even a 100 baggers before! IMO being early into a Deal potentially this good only happens occasionally in your lifetime. So grab thioos bulol by the horns and lets hope we can all drink from the cup of good fortune in life with this one.
