but if the heat within causes the expansion and the expansion is accelerating then it couldn't be cooling - cooling while expanding makes no sense to me.
perhaps the expansion is to accomodate star births which would suggest star births outstrip star deaths which in turn leads me to think that there is some type of correlation between births and acceleration and, dare I say, maybe another constant.
