Greetings NBD,
Not wanting to rock your boat, BUT, the one saying I am Alpha Omega in Rev 1:11, just like in Rev 1:8, it is not the one in Rev 1:18 (Jesus) saying it,,,,,,, as it is Almighty God and Father of Jesus.
Not sure if you meant Rev 1:8 following instead of 1:18.
I guess you meant 1:8 and this verse it is very easy to see it is Almighty God saying the Alpha Omega so I won't cover this one.
You did however leave out an important verse 1:1o if we want to understand who is saying the Alpha Omega in Rev 1:11.
Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day and heard behind me a great voice as of, a trumpet.
1:11 Saying, I am Alpha Omega................. Note - Voice as of, a trumpet! So that's one voice.
Rev 1:18
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
Rev 1:12
I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
13
and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.
14
The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
15
His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and "his voice" was like the sound of rushing waters. Second voice.
16
In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
Rev 1:18 Identifies WHO the second voice belongs to and that is Jesus, so the first voice, another identity, Trumpet was Almighty God, which he didn't get to see, because as you would probably know, no man has seen God and neither can man see God and live.
John confirms that there were TWO different voices in Revelation 4:1. This is known as letting scripture interpret scripture, rather than interpreting a verse with ones own bias opinion. Please notice that John calls this voice as of a trumpet the FIRST voice that he heard.
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the FIRST voice which I heard as it were a TRUMPET talking with me; which said Come up hither, and I will show things which must come hereafter.”

The Alpha Omega it would seem, comes from the Hebrew – Aleph Tav marked up as (et) in some Bibles and oddly enough, it was generally not interpreted.
The general reason for not interpreting seems, because it was only two letters and didn’t make a word and the other one was, no one seemed to know what it meant and I believe the latter here best fits the bill.
Some say it, as with the Alpha Omega, means the beginning and the ending or first and last. From what I read in the Bible, I don’t buy this because the beginning and the ending is clearly stated and follows the Alpha Omega statement in Rev 1:8, so it’s highly unlikely repeating itself.
We also have clear verses in the Bible using the terms, beginning and ending and first and last that are not accompanied with Alpha Omega.
So, what does the first mention of it Aleph Tav mean?
Hebrew Gen 1:1
Beginning created God (et) = Aleph Tav heaven and earth = 7 words which you might say has God’s mark/seal on it.
NOTE – The Aleph Tav WAS created,,, so it means something and of relevance.
Aleph Tav is the first and last letters of the Hebrew Alphabet = Meaning Aleph Tav represents God’s Alphabet/Letters for His Word, building blocks and then we had;
Psa 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made and all the hosts of them by the breath of his mouth.
So if people wish to keep on insisting that Jesus is the Word in John 1:1 when he is not, then you need you are saying that Jesus was created, because before The Word, God’s plan came out of Him, His Alphabet for his word was the first of his creation.
