OK - timeto - I'll explain it another way - as it's really difficult in writing!!
No bidder will pay MORE than they have bid, but a seller may get more than they have asked - so it would open at 29.5c in your example until more than 530,000 were wanted at OVER 29.5c (90,000 at 29 - plus 440,000 ay 29.5)
So as soon as the 30c plus bid hit 531,000 - the match price would move to 30c and start to fill the 912,485 for sale at 30c.
Is that easier to understand?
