What happened was a bloodbath .. and the fast exit of those "nudge nudge wink wink - had a drink with a fella who knows a fella ..its all good" posters...
Some of us feel it may have been an over-reaction , that stop losses kicked in while holders were out earning their daily bread and some who feel the ANN is not fully understood by the market.
There are those who didn't listen to "it's a punt" and didn't take precautions ..
There are also those of us who live in NZ and discovered to their chagrin that our "Online Broking People" took the damn day off because it's a Public Holiday here .. and thanked God we also had ComSec ... or not ..
I feel for those who dipped their virgin investor toes in the water with MKY .. but what happened today is the nature of the beast called the Resource Sector.
Others have done their homework and know what is now required of MKY to make their tenements fiscally positive is an on-going job of work.
Some are banking on a JV ... suggested by AB at the AGM .. and are holding ..
Some are day traders who are thumbing their noses and happy with their day's entry point first thing this morning and their exit point pre-announcement.
Sheeesh there is no way I would invite them all to a dinner party at the same time . or maybe I would :)
