Although a lot of you may want to talk about something else, I did contact Far today to get some clarification on some unanswered questions I have. I can't reprinted the replies but have been told I can disseminate the info.

Firstly, COP originally offered a pre-emption period to FAR. FAR had requested  information involving the sale but were denied and COP are now stating that pre-emption did not apply.

To me, this smacks of the lawyers getting involved and trying to change the story.  Hopefully the arbitrators can see through this and put the judgement our way. This gives me some hope it could be a clear cut case.

If we win, we will get full disclosure regarding the WPL sale and 30 days to make a PE decision.

The other confirmation was on the Senegal government not yet approving the sale to WPL.  There was no speculation from FAR why this is the case.  I suppose speculation is the domain of HC
