Just a few comments on CVI & the CVI thread.

I have a large holding in CVI & CVIO, probably bigger than most posters here on HC. I bought around the same time as T4P, not because of T4, in fact I didn't know he was on until AFTER I was in.

On 1st Oct I sold all my CVI at 14 cents & put it into INP as a trade, sold out for a 110% profit on the same day & promptly re-bought my CVI's at the same price I sold them for. Since then I have not sold a share & have only added more to the kitty.

I believe the story, and am not interested in day trading for a few paltry cents. The problem is, if one sells at say 29 cents for a profit & then re-buys at say 26 cents, psychologically your position is weakened. The moment any retrace occurs, rather than having a profit buffer to protect you, you now feel threatened with a loss making position ... none of us like to see red, so we are tempted to "protect" ourselves, and hence sell.

Ah but "I believe in the story, so I will buy back in" you say. But it can never be the same. You have created your own cycle of fear, and while you actually believe you are an investor in this great little company, you are in fact just a fear-driven trader, being tossed around like a wave in the sea.

Sure have a stop-loss in place, but with highly speculative & prospective stocks like CVI, that can be a problem ... I don't use stops for this type of stock.

In relation to the CVI thread .... I totally agree with T4P, hence I dont post here often, even though I am a large holder. It is I am afraid like the proverbial 'casting of pearl.' There are a handful of decent posters that add quality (they would inherently know who they are) ... as for the rest, well I wont use T4's word (I think he has patented that) but "useless" come to mind.

I read with much mirth the consternation that T4's post created here ... I notice the mods showing a lot of interest in CVI ... Well folks, it looks like its time for consistent, informative, posting to resume on this thread, rather than the hundreds of blow-by-blow, second-by-second crap that readers are subject to in order to read ONE informative post

    I loved Mac12's comment:

"Too much talking going on here"

    LOL

    Cheers
