Buddy Connect Event - Mar 27th, page-74

Here's my takeaway's from the event:

- Ohm is the by far the focus for the company.  The Cloud business is doing well (primarily through the deal with Thor) and Parse sounds like it may be a challenge with new global regulations coming down the pipeline and recent public attention on data mining (facebook).

- The team has spent the last year tweaking Ohm and perfecting it by updating software/firmware, adding a new app to make installs a breeze, and adding features and sensors after receiving customer feedback.  Basically I got the impression that Dave was saying "we got this thing dialed in, it's fully ready to go."

- Dave was very excited about the carbon offset service they will offer.  The big joke around the room was that now Buddy can say they are saving the world, one building at a time.  Being carbon neutral is something every major city is setting goals for, and Ohm can make that happen.  First, the customer can see and understand their energy usage, make adjustments as much as possible, and then easily buy carbon offset credits to become carbon neutral.  So now Ohm is a full end to end service.

- The "works with Ohm" I think is also a big deal.  Buddy doesn't necessarily need to build their own hard core high-voltage industrial military grade nuclear proof astronaut class sensor, they can just plug in one of the already out there sensors on the "works with Ohm" list and they are up and running.  The Buddy starter kit will work well for most customers, but for those with specialized needs the "works with Ohm" family of products should cover most other cases.

Overall I think Buddy has a very nice product.  I'm happy to be a shareholder and I'm excited to see what the future holds.  We as shareholders should have every confidence that Buddy is on the right track and in good hands.
