The more fundamental question is "Why did I purchase them in the first place?" Then the next question is "Has anything changed in the CSL business that puts the reason for purchasing them no longer valid?" If the answer to the second question is "No", then do not sell.
CSL is in my SMSF. When I get to pension phase, I may sell them and buy shares that pay a higher dividend, so that I can live in retirement. While I am in accumulation phase, there is currently no reason for me to sell. When my circumstances change, then the reason to sell may change.
