    Pretty much the same situation with me. I do, however, like taking larger positions in the stocks I know (and believe in) most. I like having a core holding and a smaller amount that can be traded. It’s important for Companies like CLQ that get played because they are in this difficult mine-building phase. So, if we have a decent run, I may sell a little and take some profits off the table. If we have a bad run, I have the money set aside to buy up.
    Having a trading parcel helps develop some good habits, basically buy low-sell high, because we sometimes get sucked into doing the exact opposite when our emotions take over.
    If you outlawed shorting, high frequency trading/algorithmic trading and brought in capital punishment for those found to be manipulating share prices and for insider traders, then I’d happily buy and hold for the longest run .
