Though volume can give you some insight into supply/demand, I don't think it's an accurate measure of speculating SP. Not all buyers and sellers have their orders on the screen for us to read. What I mean by that is they will just hit the next bid/offer so you won't see their intentions on the market depth. Fatstocks seems well educated on volume trend, maybe he can explain this better.
