This is what i think of trade war imo
US objective is to stay above china and russia
First, threaten all allies with tariff
2 Be US friend or eat tariff
3 Threaten China, agree the deal or eat tariff
4 When China agreed, all nations will against russia
1 stone 2 birds
Problem is will China agree to US t&c
So why beat China? China used to make cheap socks for US, now China makes higher end products like cars and tech products which turned from a partner to a competitor
Why beat russia? Russian bears are starring at you at all time with nukes
