Phil, on your comments regarding the verbal you got yesterday.
Water off a ducks back is the line I would take from it.
I’m sure you understand that some get over excited and post before thinking, others cannot see the wood for the trees ( that’s me, sometimes) and I’m sure there’s plenty of other possible scenarios that could be thrown in.

I’m glad to see that you’ve picked yourself up, dusted of the muck and started to rove the packs again

It may seem like the umpy has put away the whistle but ( if you follow AFL or Leauge) they generally let the game flow in the dying minutes of the last quarter.
I’m not suggesting that it’s a free for all, they still pick up the obvious infringements but the frantic pace can wear them down too.

I’m learning heaps from this T/O offer, I hope you are too?
I was a bit upset at first but I realised quickly that I’m going to have a win if nothing changes and if we get a left field offer I / we may get a bit more.

The other bonus is I get a better understanding of our fellow posters.
Not overly relevant to Avb but we should take every opportunity we can to learn something.

My hope is to see the volume dry up quickly ( retail) as I believe standard practice for any company having a tilt at another would be trying to get as many shares as they can bellow the offer price on market???

If what they hope to get, falls a bit short on week one, two.... we may see another cent added ( possibly)?

I won’t discount another company having a crack either, never say never.
