Good on C.A. for imposing these Penalties. They're not harsh. The time has come!

Just because "Ball Tampering" has been done before does not hold up.

Just because some tinpot Nations cant show some leadership in similar circumstances recently and hand out harsh Penalties doesn't mean Australia should follow suit.

Its the "do the crime, do the time" thing here. Its not a hanging offence....Its just un-Australian. Its just not Cricket.

The thing that gets me is the utter stupidity involved here in the whole debacle. The three players should have got another 12mths just for that! They mustn't have a brain between them. (and Smith should have said NO... end of story)

Anyway I'm no saint but these three players through their own stupidity in this instance will have to carry the burden of this for the rest of their lives. What about their family members also? A moment of madness, a lifetime of regret. Its not worth it.
