Can i maybe explain my question like this,5g will be like renewable energy,but will still require base load energy due to the current limitations of mobile spectrum bandwidth?
In other words mobile will never have the bandwidth to replace fixed bandwidth for many years if ever?
Re vehicle automation,doesn't that rely on mmWave or the 26ghz (24 to 28ghz) spectrum?
At least NZ as per GR's post suggests the 26ghz is now clear to be reallocated,but still don't expect any allocation till dates as per GR's post page 7 ie 2020 onwards.
Australia seems very messy as to when 26ghz will be ready for reallocation as it is still being used,excluding the sml amount for trials.
In other words the 5g 3.6ghz auctions are ready to start in october,but still no indication the 26ghz (mmWave) auction,which my gut feeling appears to be a more 'interesting 5g frequency?
So how many mistakes in above post.?
