strictly vanadium discussion only thanks

    Uhm, thought I'd start a new thread - kinda dint like the other heading. Thanks:

    Mojo, I dont think we will find out why the posts were moderated..neva mind that

    Mitis - I do not know why JG is the way he is about the Co's developments/prospects....but I do sense a certain level of solid underlying confidence there. Noone at the YRR office seems to be going overboarrd to talk up the Company, or be over-exuberant - which I kind of like.

    Whilst it may seem that a "non-chalant" attitude prevails, I feel it might be related to a case of mixed factors, like:

    - Highly confidential matters which can not be referred to, or discussed;
    - the price of vanadium (now and future) (Current price is arorund ($37 - $40 per pound...)
    - Wether another players wants it
    - Do "they" (if there is a "they") want more results before showing the money?? (they are drilling soon anyway I think, so no biggie...)
    - other players developing Vanadium at present
    - international supply/shipping issues
    - refining technicalities....
    - Magnetite, Titatium & Ferrovanadium require a very complex refining/processing method;
    - If they want to dig it up, where to they process it?
    - And where do they refine each of the aforementioned metals?

    If there is a player who wants our vanadium, I dont blame them. PMA (now WVL) has 90 MT at half a percent, and they have a plant on-site. We have 90+ MT (likely over 250 MT) at 1%. The Noble Group has financed the PMA deal. They are not small fry, and are throwing a BUSload of cash and future pledges to the WVL (PMA) vanadium mine. The absence of immediate drilling for YRR confirms to me, the strong likelihood of negotiation behind the scenes. I am hopeful to say the least. If it's good for Noble, it must be good for someone else - Vanadium is scarse.

    Okay, so IF there is a player, likely from overseas, northboud, they will want a plant on site.

    Xstrata gave up Windamurra yeeeers ago, now owned byPMA/WVL. They realise now what they have carelessly thrown out the window.....WVL will not give it back, The Noble boys have come to the party.

    250 Million tonnes of Vanadium at (say) .75% is (would be, i should say) AWESOME, and I dont think this will be a difficult task to achieve for YRR. That would secure a very long term supply for a big steel producer. They wont get it from WVL.

    Who knows what is happening??

    What we know, is that the vanadium is good, with much BETTER JORC prospects. Why are they quiet?

    Guess we'll have to find out!

    Have a great weekend all.
