a year in review

One year ago……

On the 15th of January 2007 a formal offer of $2 million was made to purchase the business interests of ZYL…the offer did not succeed!

This ‘distraction’ cost ZYL management time (away from building the business) and approx $250k of company/shareholder funds.

Since that time however under new management and a re invigorated team, ZYL has put some impressive results on the board.

I now expect further announcements/contracts to flow from projects/pilots currently under review (Banks) and the winning of other tenders with the ‘teaming’ partners announced by ZYL throughout the year.

I also expect growth from within the ‘vertical’ markets that ZYL has already identified and won contracts

One of the more interesting opportunities is with Ultimate Media and Eyecorp (100% owned by Ten Network). It also demonstrates the new Management ability to seize an existing technology (originally developed for Defense…UAVs) and adapt it to a world 1st media application…this is a growing market worldwide and ZYL technology is the recognised leader in this field.

All in all ….2008 is looking very promising for ZYL.
