Many like me pay tax on wages then pay more tax on investments then have to much wealth to get a pension so we are denied $34,000 a year couple pension because we were thrifty and because we don't have a $1 million house and have not played the system but if that is how they want people to behave then it will start to happen then they will have to fix that loop hole.
We save the government money because we don't get pension or most other allowances ,we are not the very wealthy but are the ones Bill and Bowen have in their sites,Turnbulls changes cost one of my family around $5000 pa and now she will be hit again,their proposals are pathetic and will not fix the tax system because any meaningful review of the tax system would involve a review of the GST and they have ruled that out in opposition,they also voted against the crackdown on companies diverted profits tax rather than voting for it then changing it in government but the big issue is the family home and that wont be touched.
