By the way this link goes to a government document that is not actually a true and enforceable standard, it is a standards guideline and although this might appear pendatic it is fundamental in having a consistency of framework, measurement, output and processes. I am reasonable sure there are neither Standards Australia (AS) nor International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) organic standards or specifications at this point.

Also we are only talking at the milk production end of the value chain for a supposed vertical integrator in a domestic market of about 40 million litres (compared to ~9 billion litres of natural non-organic milk produced).

So back to what is on-farm that needs to change? Many elements of the farm, plant & equipment, animal handling, services providers, consumables and farm management processes need to change and not just whipping out the super-phosphate fertiliser from the storage shed and tossing over the fence and getting some fresh cow manure from the paddock on the other side and using that.

Having said that for lite thinkers the buzz words like organics, bio-dynamic, block-chain, infant formula, China are enough to secure a good investment.
