So it looks like the ones that have their snouts in the trough are affected the least.

How can any politicians have an ounce of credibility when they change law/ policy and they themselves are NOT affected?

I know nothing about family trusts but it does appear the average worker has been cut out of this side of the planning arena through our own ignorance or lack of education.

So who is then in effect bludging off the system? Those that worked for 40 year, paid full PAYE tax over that period, now have a bit saved and it's those the pollies target.

In my opinion politicians are parasites living off the rest of us, and getting VERY wealthy in the process. Only one word I have for them SCUM!
