I think how Ponting behaves and the Indian tantrum are 2 separate issues. Plenty of sides have been dudded on the subcontinent (remember Gatting when he had to write an apology to an umpire) but they didn't boycott the remainder of the tour. India should be big about this and take it on the chin.
India was dudded but it was just incompetence of the umpires, nothing more sinister. The subcontinent teams now dominate cricket with their financial muscle, this will be interesting to see how it pans out.....so finally, cricket is interesting again! (for the wrong reasons)
Ponting's behaviour is another matter, he wins which is maybe all that matters to some but given how good Australia is, I would rather he did it with grace rather than arrogance and lack of humility. They were very very lucky to win and India fought very hard, I didn't hear any acknowledgment of that just after the match when he was interviewed on the field. They are the little things that matter (to me).
