Good to see the bandwagon knocking the tall poppies.
So typically Australian , our side is almost the best the world has ever seen yet we want to rubbish it for appealing to often .... if you dont like it dont watch, but for me I will because in years to come the names like ponting , gilchrist , hayden and the like will be the next names our youth will look at in the record books like we do with Bradman , benaud, waugh and more recently mcgrath and warne .
I will be glad to tell my grand kids I was around to see them win 17 in a row and what reat cricketers they were.
Gilly is no cheat , as is no australian cricketer or indian cricketer , or sri lankan cricketer , in fact none of them are.
The rare concession I will grant is if anyone is betting on the games , with the intent of losing like cronje did for sth africa .
The umpires makes the decisions , not the players , if its in the book its out , if it says not out in the book its not out ....if you appeal , you appeal , if you walk or you dont walk thats up to you , at the end of the day it doesnt matter what you do the umpires decision is the only one that counts.
In the case of stocks many of us argue our case when a stock trades in the opposite direction to what we think it should , and often when it does the bandwagon jumps on board for and against but like the cricket , our umpire is the current bid and the current offer thats on the screen and at the end of the day thats all that really counts.
No I am not really RC Ponting , but i do like a punt.
