the cliched 'tall poppy' response gets trotted out as a last resort when the argument against you is so compelling. This outpouring of disgust , Mr Ponting, has nothing to do with knocking anyone down in jealousy, but as the growing anger is suggesting, more to do with real frustration towards a team , who through their actions, have done nothing to deserve respect. Just bad form and I think people have had enough.
